My 1-year old son is the top priority that fuels my passion for the early childhood field. The fact that I look at him everyday and pray for nothing but the best for him is enough. I try to teach him what's right and how to be respectful. His education and well being mean the most to me. Therefore, I hope to play a vital role in children's education just as I want for my son.

  1. Hi Diedra,
Our own children seems to always fuel educators' passion for the early childhood field. My children and grandchildren are my driving force along with a desire to impact positive change in our world making a brighter future for generations to come. Not only are we being role models regarding the importance of learning and education, we are inspiring them to be the best they can be.

  2. Hi Diedra,

Your son is adorable. I hardly remember mine being so little. Now that they have grown, I have one in college and two that are seniors in high school, I find myself longing to be a positive influence in the lives of other children. That is why I love teaching 3-year-olds and decided to get my master's degree in early childhood studies. They truly are our future and being a part of their lives, even if for a brief time, is such a gift. They are like sponges, absorbing everything they see and hear, and to be able to have an impact on their lives is such an honor. I wish you and your son the best life has to offer. There truly are teachers out there that love and care for children and can be such positive role models in their lives.
